Do I need special technical knowledge to complete your online personal stylist courses? No, you don't need special technical knowledge to complete our online courses. We've designed our student portals to make it easy to access and complete the program. If you have basic computing skills, know how to open a PDF file and Play a video, then you will be able to take one of our courses.
How long does it take to complete the online personal styling courses? That's entirely up to you! Our programs are 100% self-paced so you can take as much time as you need. Some students graduate within a couple of months and some students take over a year. The good news is that unlike other online training schools, we give you access to all the materials in the student portal as long as you need it! So, if life gets in the way, you can get back to your studies when you are ready.
Is there a benefit to becoming a certified personal stylist or virtual stylist? Having a certification in personal styling or virtual styling is a great way to show potential clients that you have the skills and knowledge to help them. People see certifications as a sign of expertise and are more likely to work with a certified personal stylist than someone without formal training and education. Certified personal stylists and virtual stylists are also paid higher than stylists without any formal training.
What is the benefit of taking the 6-Figure Stylist Program instead of taking each course individually? The 6-figure Stylist Program has been designed to offer you the most comprehensive training to develop your styling skills and help you build and grow your business. The program combines the Personal Styling Certificate Program, the Business of Style Masterclass, the Virtual Stylist Certificate Program, 1:1 business coaching session, and essential stylist tools to give you the best opportunity for success. By taking the full program you will save a significant amount of money than if you enrolled in each component individually. If you are truly ready to create a successful and lucrative career as a Stylist, then this is the program for you!
Are the enrollment fees for your courses refundable if I change my mind? Because our course materials are digital and students receive immediate access to all course materials upon enrollment, we are unable to offer any full or partial refunds. This also applies to all digital products in our resource store. Please see our refund policy for full information. It is the responsibility of the students to ensure that they have all the information they need about our programs prior to enrolling. If you have questions then please contact us prior to enrollment.
Do you offer a payment plan to spread the cost of your personal styling courses? For the Personal Stylist Certificate Program, Virtual Stylist Certificate Program, 6-Figure Stylist Program, and the CEO Stylist Coaching Program we offer an option to spread the cost of the course over two payments. There is a 10% fee built into this payment option to cover administration costs. By choosing the payment plan option you are entering into a legal financial agreement with us and there are penalties for late payments or missed payments, so please review our payment plan agreement before enrolling.
Do I need any prerequisite skills before I enroll in any of the personal styling courses? All our courses are currently in English, so you will need to have a good understanding of written and verbal English to enroll. Other than that, all you really need is a passion for fashion.
Once I enroll in the program how long will it take before I can access the course materials and how do I get access? Once you have paid for your program you will automatically be redirected to a page that contains a student registration form and the access link to the portal. Complete the student registration form then check your inbox for an email containing your password. (The is email is sent to the address you provided when making your payment.) If for some reason you do not receive this email and it hasn't accidentally ended up in your spam folder, then contact us via email or using the live chat on our website.
What if I have questions and need support as I work through the course? Will I have a tutor that can help me? Yes, you will have access to a tutor throughout the program who can answer any questions, provide guidance, and offer feedback and support. Your tutor will reach out and introduce themselves once you have enrolled and you can contact them anytime you have questions or need help.
Is there any support available after completing the personal styling courses? Here at The Style Academy International, we are committed to supporting our students as they develop their careers in styling. All graduates of the certificate programs receive access to free additional training and resources through our graduate portal. Graduates of the Certificate programs are eligible to receive a 15% discount on other training programs and 1:1 business coaching with our CEO, Louisa Gabriel, after completion of their program. We also have a private Facebook group, The Stylist Society where you can access on-going training and support to help you build a successful personal styling business.
